There are a few older posts on this topic, but I'm starting a new thread for the most current information. My org (4700 users; many departments) has deployed Teams/O365 Suite to members through our tenant. Some departments have a particular 'Display Name' syntax that they prefer for online meetings with the public, but they're currently unable to change their Display Name.
My understanding is that, for Teams work/business, the Display Name is pulled from AAD, which of course is administratively configured.
Is there a [relatively simple] way to allow Teams users with work/school accounts the ability to change their Display Name in Teams meetings?
