Blocking users using edge add-ons store

Bronze Contributor

Hi all,

I am really struggling to find a way to stop users getting to this location: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/microsoft-edge-extensions-home and adding addons. I have tried multiple intune policies like blocking the side bar:

Any ideas?

@AB21805 Try below;

1. Sign in to Microsoft Intune Admin Center

2. Go to Devices > Windows > Configuration Profiles

3. Create a new Intune Configuration Profile and define the settings to block edge extensions

4. On Windows Configuration Profiles, Select Create  Profile > Choose Platform as Windows 10 and later. Select profile type as Settings catalog then Click Create

5. On the Basics tab, specify the name of the profile as Block Edge Extensions then Click Next

6. On the configuration settings section under Settings Catalog then click Add setting

7. On the Settings picker window, type “extensions” in the search box and click Search
8. From the search results, select Microsoft Edge\Extensions
9. Now select Control which extensions cannot be installed
10. To block Edge extensions using Intune, we will use the Control which extensions cannot be installed setting in Intune1. This setting lists specific extensions that users can NOT install in Microsoft Edge

I need users not to install any of these side bar apps:
