Mail enabled AD accounts
I have a question about email delivery to Mail enabled AD accounts. I am aware that these types of accounts are useful when you need to provide an external person like a contractor a login but don't want to provide them with a mailbox. You can add their external email address to the email field in Entra but they login with your companies UPN. Apparently there is also a license saving here as you dont need to assign them an E5 My questions are: If I put their UPN as the recipient of an email and send it will EXO fail to deliver it since they don't have an EXO mailbox? Or will it deliver to the external mail address set in the mail address field in their user account? How does advanced features like purview etc work if they don't have an E5? In-Place Archive not appearing in Apple iPad
Iam currently using 3 Apple Devices (MacBook, Iphone16 and iPad) with O365 E3 License. I have configured O365 Desktop Client app on all 3 devices. After configuration, In-Place archive is showing on MacBook, iPhone 16 perfectly but on iPad its not showing. I tried to reinstall the app, upgraded iPad with latest version but still no luck. I tried it on another iPad as well but In Place archive not appearing on other iPad as well. Please suggest.
Use mobile device as PowerPoint controller and more
So I have been looking around and the only thing I can find is a reference to an old PowerPoint remote controller app for Android from many years ago that is no longer supported or available. However, I do still have the want to be able to control a PowerPoint being presented from my mobile phone, tablet, etc. and be able to navigate the slides at a minimum, but if I could do some highlighter/markup capabilities, that would be even better. So here I am reaching out to the Microsoft PowerPoint community to see what I am missing here. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas that I could do to achieve the above? Thanks.AD Hybrid MailUser
I started a new job and noticed that the Exchange Online but the AD is hybrid and all the exchange attributes need to be managed in on-premises AD for proxyAddresses and Aliases. I didn't see an Exchange Server and was told it was uninstalled. How would I check that? I need to create a few MailUsers but the user accounts already exist. I have read that I should be able to Enable-Mailuser but that doesn't exist on Exchange online. How should I proceed in converting some Users to MailUsers without an exchange server on premise?Microsoft Kills Viva Goals

Solution for a document workflow with versioning, status, owner and resubmission date
Hello Community We are currently looking for a solution to capture our internal knowledge in a kind of knowledge base. We already evaluted several tool for things like that, but all seem too sophisticated for our basic needs. So I start this discussion here at the top node, please feel free to move it, if there is a place where it fits better. We are looking for a system, that can handle the standard office 365 document file types word, excel, powerpoint, Visio and pdf. We would like to implement following functions, which we believe should not be difficult to implement, but currently we lack the knowledge of how to do. Automatic, unique number generator for each new knowledge document several document templates to ensure uniform and easy to navigate/read document structure interlink documents if they reference each other in content status like "in work", "revised", "released", incl. versioning workflow Assign a user how is in charge in careing for the content of the document in terms of actuality, correctness, etc. date reminder for periodically review the document after releasing (e.g. yearly) allow search in document title and content I think, a lot of the functions is already implemented in the standard functionality of sharepoint. But maybe there are easy add-on tools with which we can implement those functions "as a prototype" without having much knowledge about deep-dive .net coding. Unable to Connect my Hotmail Account to Outlook for Mac
I have an M3 MacBook Pro MAX running Parallels Desktop to give me Windows 11. Historically, I have been able to run Outlook on MacOS and Windows without any problems. However, now I can'tadd my Hotmail account to Outfor Mac v16.93. I have removed Outlook and reinstalled it. I have cleared the application data. I also tried to raise a support ticket, but it won't connect to the Live Chat agent. Contact Support - Outlook for Mac OneCustomer | Chat Support We are unable to load chat at this time. Please try again later. When I try to add my Hotmail account back in, I get the following message after accepting the Authenticator challenge. Outlook.com Connecting to Outlook.com. An authentication error occurred while configuring account. Try Again Connecting to Outlook via a web browser works; Outlook on Windows also works. Any recommendations on how I can add Hotmail back into Outlook for Mac? Many thanks, David
