Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word issues after the recent Office updates

We use the Interop.Word from a Winforms application for interaction with Word documents. Everything was okay until the latest Office 365 updates on 10/31. Word hangs when used from within Interop.Word. Issue resolved itself when Office update is rolled back. Did something happen or change with respect to Interop.Word during this update? I haven't seen any other reported issues regarding this.

    We have also encountered same issue with an application that starts word via the interop, 365 no go, 2021 Ltsc works.

      Same here. Our application (https://www.inputlog.net/) used the MIcrosoft.Office.Interop.Word for years, until now. We had the revert to 2021 Ltsc.
