Is there a way to format a column of cells to automatically convert the inputted numbers as a negative number? I have looked in the Format Cell feature and the only options are for to display a negative number with the minus sign, in red with the minus sign, etc. I need for the cell to display the inputted number and value that number in the negative.... This may seem like an easy function to do but I can't find the answer in the Help sections of Excel. I appreciate any help!

Hello @Michael1105,
To make a value appear as a negative number, go into Custom Formats and enter -0. I must warn you, however, that this only changes the appearance of a value to be negative.
If you truly wish to change a value to be negative, then I suggest creating a helper column with a formula such as =-ABS(A1).
