i cant open recent files

hi there i believe i have been saving excel documents on excel on the network of my home bt broadband router. i have since changed my router and now cant open these files that appear on my recent list. what can i do to open them its important

Since you have lost the data on your network or have no access, Excel cannot help you either.
If my humble opinion is allowed, find a trusted technician and have your network / router checked. Or grant a trusted technician access via remote connection.
With excel you can only try to upload the file again. Here is an info thread where you could possibly find some approaches.
