Excel Scrollbar form control not working

Hello,

 

my scrollbar form control in Excel is not working as soon as I scroll to the right in my spreadsheet to see more columns. This works perfectly fine when I navigate to the right using the arrows on the screen scrollbar, but not If I navigate only via the screen scrollbar.

This problem appeared also on several other Laptops/Office accounts.

Some possible solutions you can try:

• Unfreeze panes if you have enabled the Freeze Panes feature of Excel.
• Check if your SHIFT key is stuck and press it again to release it.
• Unmark ‘Zoom on roll with IntelliMouse’ option in Excel Options > Advanced > Display.
• Delete any empty rows or columns beyond your data range.
• Recover the scrollbar by resizing it or changing its position.

If these solutions do not work, you may need to update your Excel version or check if there are any network issues affecting the ActiveX controls. 

You can also try turning off hardware graphics acceleration in Excel Options > Advanced > Display, see the link with the suggested solutions.
