EDIT A DOCUMENT IN EXCEL

I'm trying to edit a file in Excel and it won't let me.  Can anyone tell me how I can edit?  I can do so on other  documents.

Is there any error message like the file is read only or locked? Check going to "File > Into" (Alt f + i) tab to see if there is any information.
