Conditional Formatting Help!

Copper Contributor

I have a spreadsheet that I want to use conditional formatting for. I'm pretty good at this except when it comes to complex formatting. I have Column G that will have two different data entries--RCBM and NWF. RCBM and NWF will have different ranges that I need colored, but this will all be on one sheet. When entering nuimbers in columns J-U, I want the red, yellow, and green flags to fill in (or just text being colored), but based on the data ranges for RCBM and NWF, separately. I know this is very difficult to understand as it's hard to put into words. I've attached a screen shot so you can get an idea. Thanks!!!

Hi @Kristi McDonald,

You can select ranges and apply CONDITIONAL FORMATTING seperately.

If this is not you want, just explain.

Hello,

select the values for the RCBM row and apply the format. Then select the values for the NWF row and apply the format. That will be two different rules, one for each row.

Actually, the rows will be revolving--rows being deleted, added, etc. So I need the C.Format to say "If G is X, then J-U needs to follow this criteria to fill". Maybe that makes more sense.
