UPDATE 2: Instead of releasing build 256 since it had problems last week, we decided to release a newer build this week. All the notes for build 256 are still below, but additions from the newer build are also added to the bottom of each list with a NEW tag.
UPDATE: We're experiencing some trouble rolling out this week's update. Since it's already Thursday, it's very likely we aren't going to have an update this week. I'll update this post again when we're able to successfully release the build.
Hello insiders, it’s another big week this week! Today we’re releasing build 78.0.262.0 to the Dev Channel. Additionally, thanks to the release of the Beta Channel recently, we’re rolling out some big features to the Dev Channel for further testing before releasing them to Beta. The most significant of those features is improved sync functionality with Edge mobile. Mobile now supports syncing passwords and form fill data with the desktop version of Edge for both personal accounts as well as work and school accounts.
Some other major new functionality includes:
Stability fixes:
Behavior changes:
Removed functionality:
As always, we appreciate all your feedback and suggestions, and we want to especially thank everybody who tried out the Beta Channel!

Hey Drew,
You're right, you shouldn't have to tell us to work on adding desktop Outlook because it's already being worked on! Any program that wants to appear in the Share popup needs to do work themselves to support it, which means it's actually desktop Outlook's job to make sure they appear there, not ours. Luckily, we've been in conversation with them and they've added support in the latest versions of Office (see my screenshot below). They just might not have rolled out those changes to the public version yet.

@josh_bodner
Understood, Josh & good info for people. And, this one Folks will be glad to hear. We do keep saying the work takes time, won't see the fruits of the labour all at once and much is Controlled Feature Roll-outs. (I & others, still, don't have Share (Canary or Dev), for example or the new Settings pages in Canary).
Thing is, people say something about something because it often isn't until & unless something is said that someone retorts, "we know, we are working on it, you'll see it soon".
Cheers,
Drew

@Jeffrey Allen
Hi Jeffrey,
I am sorry to hear what you are experiencing. I have tried to repro it to no avail. My same Dev Build is behaving beautifully. Please, try fully removing Dev & re-install it using a fresh, new download.
Cheers,
Drew

@Drew1903, I am posting this reply in classic Edge as I couldn't even get the and @symbol to work or even drag and drop of the browse button to work in the new Edge. I uploaded some examples to this post.

@Jeffrey Allen
Eeeek! That's is really bad, wow. Missing all the graphics. Umm... and this is after a new DL of Dev & installing with that? Well, it's not in the OS since Edge is fine. Showing what should be... Quite weird, maybe someone else will have a thought as it has me stumped, I'm afraid.
Cheers,
Drew

@Drew1903, yes, uninstall, reboot, new download completely and installed. The old version of the new Chrome and this new install are the same but no other non-Chromium browser has the issue so it can't be the Windows or our firewall. Very frustrating but I went back to the classic Edge and set it as the default browser.

@HotCakeX, thanks for the info. I ran out of time troubleshoot the issue as I already spent a few hours on this but this morning it seems fine which is really weird. Even though I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and worked with it, it today seems to work just fine no adjustments beyond that to computer or anything else. Maybe it updated.

Hi @Kolumir,
Thanks for using the browser and for reporting the issue. We appreciate the feedback and have fixed the problem in the latest Canary (v284). Please restart and update the browser to get the fixes.
Let me know if you still have issues.
Thanks again,
Vi

@HotCakeX, actually I'm back to having issues. The browser worked like it should have for only a few hours then acted up.
