Hello insiders, our big news this week is that we officially released native ARM64 builds! These builds are only available in Canary for now, but will be coming to other channels soon. Native ARM64 builds of Edge will run much faster and much use less battery life on ARM64 devices. If you’re running Canary on an ARM-based machine, you should get the ARM version automatically with an update. As for our regular release, we’re bringing the Dev channel up to 80.0.328.4. All of the changes in it worth noting:
Improved reliability:
Changed behavior:
Finally, like last week, we’ve got a few known issues remaining:
As always, we appreciate all the usage and feedback!

Also, in case you haven't seen it yet, @David Rubino talks about some of our scrolling improvements in our weekly top feedback summary: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Discussions/Top-feedback-summary-for-November-14/m-p/1009438.

@Dennis5mile no, Canary is still on 331. We've been holding back new Canary builds until we get some fixes in for the sync issues that folks have been having recently.

@josh_bodnerWhen will sync with Windows Time Line?
When will include fluent design as current Edge?

that's really good to hear sync issues are being prioritized, that's my main concern

@josh_bodner Good this update fixed some graphic bugs that was facing since beta 79

The cause of this is due to an error in the GPU process, and opening the browser task manager (right-click near the window minimize/maximize/close buttons or hit shift+esc on the keyboard) will open a window that will allow you to end the GPU process, which will fix the issue.
Thanks for acknowledging this problem. This is happening for me since 4 or 5 builds ago. Before that this never happened.

@josh_bodner Hello, I use the Microsoft edge browser for Developers. Periodically there are some unpleasant moments with the browser. 1) the browser in the background holds a lot of tabs that are not displayed. With a rare restart of the browser or the computer as a whole, the browser eventually begins to "burn" RAM and begins to load the processor (up to 80-90%). Treatment-restart the browser. At the same time, about 4-5 tabs are open in the browser, and the Manager indicates that about 20 tabs are open in it. 2) sometimes when you open a page, the browser just crashes from the page, completely closing. If you try to go a second time, it can close after about 10 seconds and, if you're lucky, the third time the page can load and the browser will stop flying.

There is a problem with the "Show only icon" function in the favorites. I have tried with several profiles, different PC/Mac. Everytime they are reverting to show both icon and text.
Version 80.0.328.4 (Officielt build) dev (64-bit)

@Dennis5mile @josh_bodner hopefully the update addresses the crash on launch as Canary to me is useless right now. I tend to stick to DEV until the final release comes out or Beta gets Collections.

Many of us HP laptop users are experiencing major issues with TouchPad over-sensitivity, rendering Edge useless on our machine. I understand that you are aware of this issue and that it has been on the "investigating" list for weeks. I hope this issue gets pushed up the list. It's been reported with every release for at least the past 3 months, and by a large number of users.

@mintlegen on the D7356 Netflix error: I used to get similar Netflix errors many builds ago, but the issue disappeared on my system. I checked this build and, for me, I couldn't trigger any Netflix error. The playback went smooth.
That's with no extensions, private mode, etc.? I tried different profiles, logging in and out, private mode, tracking off (I'm on "Balanced") though Netflix shows zero trackers blocked anyways, etc.: no errors.
This thread confirms 2 more users with the same D7356 error. Wildly, that error code isn't anywhere on Google, except that thread and this one. Very unusual.
Great call on including the known issues list: that will help a lot with thread/forum clutter, where new bugs might have been less visible among posts.
Happy to see the History sync placeholder is back, too, as mentioned.
All in all, a lot of good bug-whacking here. I was hit by more than a few on multiple machines.

1.Touch keyboard still doesn't work on Surface. Rather bad looking that MS can't even make their own tablets work with their own webbrowser.
2. Restore the extension icons to their propper place. When troubleshooting i need to see them every time i load a page
3. The old bugs and missing features still not fixed

@josh_bodner Is there any plan to add the syc feature with IE same as we had in Edge?
