OneNote vs. OneNote for Windows 10
I received an email this morning reminding me of the impending end of support for the OneNote for Windows 10 app. As I do periodically when I am reminded about this, I launched the OneNote on Windows (OneNote M365) app and lamented how much less user friendly it is than its doomed cousin. The lack of a "Recent Notes" view is my biggest gripe, but the awkward "pop-over" search comes a close second. The tabs and search result are on an ugly grey background and everything is just slightly too small to read comfortably. Am I the only one?
Searching in a Microsoft List
How could a user restrict their search to a particular value in a particular field? Let's say I need to search for the value 'Williams' in the 'Company' field. I could enter "Williams" into the search bar, but the hits would include all items that contain the word "Williams" in any field. I want to restrict the search. How can one do that?Is there a way to hide Microsoft 365 Copilot?
Hello, We are not quite ready to roll out Microsoft 365 Copilot to our end users. Is there a way to hide the Microsoft 365 Copilot icon from the M365 Home page - specifically the 9 dot icon? We still need to roll out the security labels in our organization.
How to allow B2B users in Microsoft Places workgroups?
Our company recently purchased another company. While we are preparing migrating users from the two legacy tenants to a new, third tenant, we collaborate with each other using Cross Tenant Synch and Cross Tenant Access. I am currently testing out Places, but I am unable to add my team members from the other company to a Workgroup in Places: "1 user(s) couldn't be added, the administrator has disabled adding these user(s) to any workgroup". Any idea how/where I can change this? I am Global Admin.Password protected Word file embedded in OneNote asks for password three times
I have a password-protected Word document that I have attached in a OneNote page. I've noticed recently that when I try to open the Word document, it prompts for the password three times before it opens the file. This is with the desktop version of OneNote and Word, currently at Version 2411. The issue does not exist if I roll Office back to version 2404 (16.0.17531.20120), and I've been able to replicate the issue on multiple computers so it looks like a problem that was introduced in a recent Office update. Anyone else experiencing similar?

Hello everyone! I just started learning about Microsoft Cloud Platform, and I am most interested in the Office 365 product. However, I found the name Microsoft 365 on some Microsoft resources. Do these two names mean the same thing? Or are there any differences between them? I haven't found any clear description.
