Spell Checking

I remember when I was in College back in 2007 and the MS Word I was using (I believe it was Word 2003) had the Spelling Check option of running automatically.  You would run it and it would go thru the document correcting, and it would only create a dialogue box, on difficult spellings.

Does anybody else remember this feature?  Is Word 365 able to do this?

I am currently using word to translate 700 page books, and when I have all of the pages translated, the spell checker looks like this

Spelling   20,145

Grammar 5,973

Anyway just wondering if there is a better solution for checking for errors.  I mean Google, can take sentences I ask in the search that have multiple misspellings and accurately determine what I meant to type.  I don't see why Word wouldn't.

In current versions of Word, when you run a manual spellcheck, you are presented with the Editor task pane. Many people prefer the older interface, the Spelling & Grammar dialog box, which I believe can still be re-introduced by using a macro. See http://www.addbalance.com/word/spell_check_dialog_instead_of_editor.htm.
