Slow spell check/ is it related to addin? unable to remove add in

Spell check is extremely slow.

Is it possible that my add-in is causing that? I have Foxit PDF Reader "export to PDF" addin.

I have tried removing the add in. Word requires me to be an administrator in order to remove it. I am the administrator on my computer but Word does not recognize that.

Your help is most appreciated!
