Problem with Word titles

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with titles in Word and it would be great if someone could help me.

The software won't allow me to go from title 1.7 to 2.1 in a Word document. Instead, chapter 1.8 gets created automatically and I don't understand how to insert 2.1 instead.

It is not really logical to go from 1.7 straight to 2.1 and assuming that you are using a Multi-level list for your numbering, you would need to have a paragraph to which the level 1 numbering is applied before the 2.1 so that it will restart at 1.
