Update 10.0.22622.436 (ni_release) inaccessible boot device

Hi.

Currently running 21h1 and trying to update to the above release. Download and install appear to go ok, but on reboot and finish of install i get green screen of death, and the message for "inaccessible boot device"

any thoughts or logs i can check as to why this doesn't install?
