Tablet/Desktopmode X1 Yoga Gen 4 Windows 11
I bought a used X1 Yoga Gen 4 from a German refurbished website. The laptop is working perfectly with just one issue. As I flip the screen, to use the laptop as a tablet, the switch mode between tablet mode and desktop mode is pretty inconsistent. I updated several drivers, made a diagnostic run on the Lenovo website and the problem still appears. After a flip, sometimes it gets into tablet mode, but after flipping it back, it stays in the mode, the taskbar is in tablet mode and keyboard and mouse pad is shut off. I need to restart the computer and it works. I tried several software solutions, but from now, nothing worked. In win 10 there have been a button on the pop up menu, or with win + A, that can toggle between tablet and desktop mode. It seems, that windows 11 deleted this possibility completely. I tried to do this manually with a ai suggested .bat Skript, that toggles between the two modes, or set the status to desktop or, tablet but this had no effect. Despairing of the solution methods, it could be the sensor... Does anyone else got this problems with win 11 and more importantly, would anyone have a suggestion for a solution? Thank you.
Windows 11 showing no internet when connected
the no internet is visible in the bottom right and in windows settings, also mcsf connect test fails every time I wouldnt really mind if this was just a visual glitch but I can't download any windows updates or even log into websites like spotify because of this. It started happening out of nowhere after I reset my windows and yes I tried reinstalling drivers and resetting my network.
Help with my laptop (Windows 11 )bios
I've been trying to activate turbo boost in the bios (yes i tryied putting windows in high performance and using other programs but i want it to stay always on) but i can't see the Advanced tab. Is there a way to make it appear with a specific key combination? edit: i also noticed that my bios version isn't listed anymore on the hp support page, it now lists the F.68 Rev.AQuestion about iTunes music download to pc on windows 11?
Hello! I've bought a bunch of songs on iTunes over the years, and I'd love to download them directly onto my Windows PC so I can listen offline without using my iPhone or the Apple Music app. Is that actually possible for iTunes music download to pc? Every time I try to figure it out, I get confused between iTunes Store purchases, Apple Music subscription downloads, and what's just "streaming." I don't want to accidentally lose anything or break some rule. I'm using the regular iTunes app on Windows 11 PC. I just want a local backup of the actual music files like MP3s or whatever format they use so I can play them in other programs if needed. Thank you so much for any kind guidance!
Cannot Preview Network Files Within File Explorer
Ever since the new Windows 25H2 Update, users cannot preview any network files as File Explorer states, "The file you are attempting to preview could harm your computer. If you trust the file and the source you received it from, open it to view its contents". I have verified "show preview handlers in preview pane" was enabled within File Explorer, and I enabled PDF Thumbnail Previews within Adobe Acrobat. This seems to be an on-going and consistent issue with other users according to similar forum posts. Microsoft, PLEASE fix!
Microphone doesn't work? What should I do?
Hello, my micro suddenly stopped working. In hardware and sound settings it says that it should work and when I speak there is a bar that shows that it works but in all the apps it doesn't work. I can hear the sound like from youtube etc. but i can't speak (i tried integrated micro and not) If i log of from the administrator session it still doesn't work. It all started after I uninstalled clownfish voice changer (at least that's what I think) because after a day after uninstalling clownfish it stopped working. In privacy&security->microphone I allowed microphone access and all that is possible there. I have WINDOWS 11.Windows Update not found in settings
I just enrolled my device to the Windows Insider Program after which my windows update option from settings has become unavailable. The windows update button on the system tab also does not work when clicked. Please suggest what can be done now to restore the windows update settings. Hi I recently found out my old home pc has stopped working, so I just pulled out my hdd as there are a lot of old family pic and vids on the drive. I connected it to my laptop, but the drive does not load properly on my laptop and occassionally causes my laptop to slow down (I'm using windows 11 on my laptop). Help me recover the data. Thanks!
