Where is the cache folder in Windows 10?

Copper Contributor

Is the cache folder located at this place:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.MSO

I can see a lot of tmp files inside but not sure what it does ? And if it is safe to delete the files inside?

The file size is pretty big and growing at daily base.

You can safely delete that folder to free up more space.
Cache files are generally located in a folder named “cache” or “temporary files” in your computer's file system. On Windows 10, these files are typically stored in the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp folder.
If you're unsure about deleting files, you can use Disk Cleanup, a built-in Windows tool, to safely delete temporary files and other unnecessary files from your system. To do this:

1.Press the Windows key, type "Disk Cleanup", and select the Disk Cleanup app.
2.Choose the drive you want to clean up (usually your system drive, typically C:).
3.Disk Cleanup will calculate how much space you can free up. Once the calculation is complete, it will show you a list of files you can safely delete.
4.Check the box next to "Temporary files" or any other types of files you want to delete.
5.Click OK, then click Delete Files to confirm.
