How can I detect when "enable remote desktop" shuts off?

I have Windows 10 Pro (1909) running on an Intel Nuc that I control via Remote Desktop.  The problem that I'm having is that periodically the setting for "Enable Remote Desktop" will switch itself off.  I think this is likely an issue with the network drivers as when this happens, the machine will disconnect from the network too (I do have the latest Intel drivers and Windows update is 100%).

I have a script that re-enables remote desktop and reconnects to the network, but right now I'm only running it on a timer every few minutes.  Is there a way to detect when the "enable remote desktop" setting is being switched so I run the script automatically at that time?
