When installing a printer publish using Universal Print, the driver used is Microsoft IPP Class Driver instead of the printer drivers (which are correct on the device running Universal Print agent)

@Benoit HAMET Only the Microsoft IPP Class Driver is supported because it provides the required data and data format needed to enable Universal Print scenarios.

 

We're continuously improving the functionality offered by Universal Print and the Microsoft IPP Class Driver so that it can fulfill most printing needs.

 

Please provide feedback to help us improve both Universal Print and the driver. You can create Feature Requests for things you need that are not supported by the Microsoft IPP Class Driver, and support requests for issues you encounter with existing functionality :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:
