Konica Universal Print App
Looking for others that are using this app. It seems the app crashes weekly on various models (C300i with latest firmware). We can resume printing by logging in with admin access and re-enabling the app. We also see other issues like jobs printing (output produced) but not going to a completed state. These have been sitting like this for about 30 minutes. When this happens, we have to reboot the printer. We got nowhere working with our local support vendor. We're trying to get national support involved.
Print with MS Uniprint from Linux like MacOS?
Dear all, dear Microsoft, is there a function to print from Linux systems, like Ubuntu the MS Universal print, maybe similar like the integration for MacOS. We have some clients froom our side, which aks for this, because of mixed environments with Windows, MacOS and Linux based workstations for the users. as i read, there where already some other posts in the past for linux and MS uni print. Thanks!
Issue with Printer connection
Hi, I have an HP Printer which is connected to the Azure Universal printer. I face the issue where I try to print. It works perfectly fine the first time when I want to print something but it doesn't work the second time. I have to connect it everytime I have to print. A solution to this would be very helpful
Universal Print GCC
Question about universal print in GCC. The MS site states that with G3 or G5 you also need the “extra features sku” or windows ols activation sku. Do you know what the “extra features” sku is? The site has no further mention of it and I cant find anything else on the topic. If we have to go windows ols, that is only available through open value?
Universal print job release
Hi, can i ask how to set up secure release via PIN? now i tested HP printer and in JOB RELEASE OPTION i have only two choice: direct print and qr code. And my problem with phone is because in our company we dont have company phones and no all of users will be able to use their own phone so i also lookin for some alternatives. But release with qr code worled fine but like i said problem is that we font have a company phones, we have about 250 employees and i think half of them need to user printer. Hi everyone! we have just started deploying printers to intune clients using universal print. It works mostly fine, but after adding around 10 printers via policy, we see multipleupprinterinstaller.exe windows popping for a few minutes up each time the client synchronizes policy. Has anyone else experienced this, or found a solution to this? Ruslan
Unable to get authentication token for submitting Universal Print print job
Hi, I'm trying to get the authentication token from the UP server so I can create and submit a print job to a printer share. I'm using the authority and redirect URIs, along with the client ID, from the GetAADToken.cs code (microsoft-cups fork) but after signing in, with an account that has UP access, the only thing that happens is an empty file named 'nativeclient' is downloaded, no token is generated and the browser window doesn't close. When I close the browser window I get an error back indicating the request was cancelled. Is it possible to acquire a token from macOS in a third party app so jobs can be submitted directly to a Universal Print printer share? Thanks, Dave @Braeden_Petruk_MSFT
Using universal print with industrial label printer ?
Hello, I am working on a project with a client where I need to print a label from azure data factory to an industrial label printer. We are thinking about using print universal to do so. The printer is aDATAMAX Oneil Mark III that is not connected in network but connected at a PC, so not directly accessible. Is it possible to use Print Universal with this printer as it's not within the list of recommended printers? Can we use print universal with a industrial label printer ? If not what printer would you recommend ? Thank you for you help, Marion
