We have Polycom RealConnect on premise and Skype for Business Server on premise. Our Polycom codecs and endpoints connect to SfB meetings using the conference ID of the SfB meeting. When someone phones in to a Skype meeting that has a Polycom connected, and speaks, something in the Polycom infrastructure appears to be gating their audio. This is is causing major headaches with Polycom audio quality during meetings. We can reproduce this on all of our Polycom equipment.
Has anyone experienced this issue, and if so, were you able to resolve it?

Hi David
I am guessing this is because SfB Meetings using G7.22 8kHz for audio which is not the best, especially if you are used to 22kHz when doing Polycom to Polycom.
Not sure if you can disable that on the PLCM side so it could negotiate say Silk which is a bit better.
Cheers
Graham
