Earlier in April, we shipped the first of many features to help people get more out of SharePoint by finding and downloading the SharePoint mobile apps. As the next step based on customer feedback, we are shipping a banner experience on SharePoint Home to help discover the apps even more easily. Selecting “Get the mobile app” button on the banner will open a new tab with information about the apps across iOS, Android, and the Windows 10 platforms. The banner will only be shown to people who do not have the app installed. The banner can be dismissed by selecting the close button, and once dismissed it will never be shown again to that user. This feature will be shipped to First Release and Prod in the next few weeks.
