save as a template a TeamSite in SharePoint 2016

Hi Guys,

I created a team site to manage my Projects but the feature save it as a template is not there.

I did all the online suggestions or workarounds but I cannot copy a teamsite.

I opened a ticket in my company because I thought that was a matter of permissions but also the admin does not see the setting.

Can you please help me?

The subject line says 2016, but the post is tagged with SPOnline. Which version do you have?

Save as a Template is not available if you have enabled the Publishing feature, did you do that? 

If you are using SPOnline, saving as a template is not recommended. Using the PnP Powershell cmdlets is a better long term approach.

You are right, my mistake. The version is SP online, the one included in the OFFICE 365.

The Publishing feature is disabled.

Probably you would need to do some PowerShell to enable the Save as template option in the site: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Allow-or-prevent-custom-script-1f2c515f-5d7e-448a-9fd7-835d...
