For a Site only "View" Sharing links

For a specific site (of a Sharepoint Online Tenant) I want all users not to be able to send an "edit" sharing file or folder link to anyone (external). Only “view” links to be allowed! Is this possible? And how? Can anyone help me on this please?

you can not restrict the default choices from Microsoft, i think it's not possible with ootb work.
