We recently faced one issue about the sharepoint sync.
We are using the 'save space and download files as you use them' option to sync all files from sharepoint document library. It works well most of the time. But occasionally, some users PC will start to sync all files from cloud even they didn't use them. it consumes lots of time and waste lots of local space and network bandwidth. And I checked with the users, no special action was done. This issue just occurred when they come to office in the morning.
May I ask if this a bug or not? I googled in internet and seems it's a reported issue. Is there any suggested solution for this?
