portfolio analysis creation

Whenever I am creating any portfolio analysis and trying to select any data in this field

Analysis Primary Cost Constraint 

"A project cost or number custom field is required to create an analysis." error is coming.. and although this field is mandatory but still it is non editable.

Do you have a custom cost or number field in project online yet for projects? I think it also needs data, so you'd need to create it, populate it on the projects you're running a scenario against, and publish those projects with the number assigned. When I've done scenarios, I skip using the number since I run them on resource capacity alone, but for some reason it has to be there.
