How to create a view to display Master projects (Parent ID) & their associated Subprojects (in POL)?

Copper Contributor

Hello,

In Microsoft Project Online how can I create a view to show which of the subprojects belong to which master projects?  We know how to identify a subproject and master and that the Master projects has a Parent ID, but we cannot determine how to the associate the Master's subprojects in the view that show all the Master Projects and their matching associated subprojects.  Is there a subproject ID (child) that identifies the Master (Parent) it belongs to and vise versa. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

At master level, the subprojects are easily identified by their respective summary line insertion points. However, there is no indicator at subproject level to show what master it's inserted into.

If you have that many masters and subprojects I suggest you create a simple spreadsheet.
