Teams Admin Center - Number Translation

Hello

We have following use case

1. User calls a phone number (AuoAttendant1 or CallQueue1)

2. This phone number is redirected to an external phone number

3. The forwarded call should have the caller ID of the AA1 or CQ1 (ressource account)

How should I do this in Teams Admin Center

Hi,

For the calls forwarded straight to the External PSTN Numbers from the Call Queue and Auto Attendant I don't think you would be able to manipulate the caller Id on the Microsoft Teams Tenant side.

In case you are using a Teams Direct Routing Solution you can manipulate the Caller Id on the Session Border Controller with the Header manipulation.

Yes we are using Direct Routing and also SBC.
So we need to do that in the SBC.
There is absolutely nothing that is possible in Teams Admin Center?

Hi,

Yes nothing can be done on the Teams Tenant as Teams PBX is forwarding the call to the External PSTN Number,
