I have our update rings for Windows devices configured in Intune. Our policy has a "Grace Period" of 5 days, and the option "Auto Reboot before deadline" set to Yes.
So I was expecting the machines would be forced to restart. Most of them do that.
But on Microsoft Defender console, I can see that the update wasn't yet installed, and the machine is tagged "Pending Restart", which means that the restart probably did not occur.
So, shouldn't Intune policy really force the restart? Or are there any issues here?
