Unicode symbol Checkmark in excel formula bar

Hello, can anyone advise how do you enter Unicode symbol Checkmark in excel formula bar? I am doing an If formula and I want to display the checkmark, but I am not able to add it.

On the Insert tab of the ribbon, in the Symbols group, click Symbol.

Select a font such as Aptos, then scroll until you see the check mark (in Aptos, it's all the way down):

Select the check mark, then click OK.

Remark: the check mark is only available in some fonts.

@Han Vogelaa , thanks.
After this, how do I get the checkmark in the formula? For eg. =IF(E7=0,"Jan 'Checkmark should be displayed here' ", "Jan")

Start entering the formula without the = at the beginning.

You can then activate the Symbol dialog and insert the check mark.

At the end, insert = at the beginning.
