Representing Multiple Estimation Ranges?

Copper Contributor

I'm wondering how to represent multiple ranges next to each other to express where they best overlap.

Context: I am working with age estimation of skeletons, for this example lets say I use three methods to do this, A, B, and C.

Method A estimates age as 20-25, Method B shows 22-28, and Method C shows 18-25

I want to graph these age ranges and then show that between all three methods, the age range of 22-25 is covered by all three methods' estimations and is therefore the most probable age estimation overall.

Does anyone know how I could do this on excel? Please bear in mind I do not have a lot of experience with both excel and statistics.

Thank you!!!
