Related to COUNT FUNCTION

Hello Everyone,

I would like to ask how count
If i have a table with two
columns

like - 

In above Screenshot, I want to count how many A equal to c and how many B equal to c

And the value in the cell is text ??

Please help..??

Also if the result needs to be Text then wrap it
=TEXT( COUNTIFS($A$1:$A$4,D1, $B$1:$B$4,E1), "@" )
