Needing Formula Help - Lookup Functions

Hello, 

 

In the attached document, I need help with formulas.

  • In the yellow highlighted cell, I want it to tell me the Assigned Person of the In-Progress task. 
  • In the blue highlighted cells, I want it to tell me the first date in the column.
  • In the orange highlighted cells, I want it to tell me the last date in the column. This needs to continue if I add another task in the table.

Like in the attached file? I've assumed that "first date" = earliest date and "last date" = latest date.

 

But, I must admit that I don't really see the logic of such formulae. I trust that you do. By the way, what if there are more persons "in progress" at the same time? What would you expect in the yellow cell?

@Riny_van_Eekelen Thank you! I am using the spreadsheet as a secondary tab that feeds back into a summary tab in the workbook. 

In theory there should only be one person in progress as they need to complete the project steps in sequential order. If there comes a time that more than one is in progress at the same time, I'll look at changing my formula.
