Live Date Tracker

New Contributor

I am attempting to create a Live Shipping Date Tracker for my job. Our shipping times are always in weeks, some items take 5 weeks, some 20+. I want to create a sheet that tracks the data and updates it every time the document is opened. Ideally I would like it to remain in weeks as we do not get actual dates.

I am thinking that I will need a formula to translate "9 weeks" into a date, then have the current date subtracted from that date and then divide that number by 7 for the amount of weeks. I just can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas on how to make this work?

@Brian0912 Perhaps something like in the picture below?

@Riny_van_Eekelen I think that can work. Thank you!

I am also trying to auto archive the closed orders, by making a macro that moves a completed row to the next sheet. I have this so far, but cannot seem to get it to work.

 Any ideas??

@Brian0912 212 Macros and VBA is not my thing. Sorry.

But wondering what the purpose would be of archiving closed orders. Why not just keep everything in one database and filter out the ones that are closed?
