I have attached a document, which is similar to my project, where I have a lot of unnecessary symbols, like these in the file. How can I get rid of them?
Type the text that you want to keep into the first couple of cells next to your data. Then on the Data tab, click the Flash fill button. You may have to correct a couple of ones it has missed, but this will get you started I expect.
