To remove a border from a text box within a picture in Excel, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click on the picture containing the text box to select it.
  2. If the text box is not already selected within the picture, you may need to double-click on the picture to enter edit mode or right-click on the picture and choose "Edit Picture" or "Edit Text" from the context menu.
  3. Once you have the text box selected, you should see the border of the text box. Click on the border of the text box to select it. You may need to click directly on the border or on the text box itself to select it.
  4. After selecting the text box, you should see formatting options appear in the ribbon at the top of the Excel window. Look for the "Shape Format" or "Format" tab in the ribbon.
  5. In the "Shape Format" or "Format" tab, locate the "Shape Outline" or "Outline" option. Click on the dropdown menu for "Shape Outline" or "Outline" to display options for the border.
  6. In the dropdown menu, select "No Outline" or "No Line" to remove the border from the text box.
  7. The border should now be removed from the text box within the picture.

If you're unable to find the formatting options for the text box, make sure that you have the picture and text box selected and that you're in edit mode for the picture. Additionally, the location of formatting options may vary slightly depending on the version of Excel you're using. The text was created with the help of AI.
