hello all,
This problem started in Office 2016 and continues now in Office 2021:
Issue A:
When a sheet has "freeze panes" and I copy (either using mouse or Ctrl+C) a cell -
It "jumps" to a different part of the sheet, part I haven't used at all before.
Attached photo 1: freeze panes, before "copy".
photo 2: right after "copy" .
Issue B:
After disabling "freeze pane", copying causes the sheet to turn gray.
photo 3: after disabling freeze and using copy.
In both issues, when pressing Ctrl+C, or moving the cells with arrows or zooming in\out returns the view to the original place I was at.
It is arduous and becoming frustrating just working like that.
Plus, I no longer have the "disable graphic acceleration" option.
Any thoughts?

Weird - I also have Excel 2021 but I cannot reproduce either issue.
(I switched the sheet to display right-to-left to see if that had anything to do with it)

well,
I switched to LEFT-TO-RIGHT and the problems were gone.
Why is that?
Note:
The original Excel is in Hebrew (Right-to-Left), I downloaded English pack so everything will be Left-to-Right.
Could this have contributed to the issue?

Yes - recent versions of Excel have some bugs relating to right-to-left sheets. Scrolling is often irregular.

Not that I know of. You can report it to Microsoft by selecting File > Feedback > Send a Frown in Excel.
