fixing increase of numbering of pages by 3

Hi, I would like it if someone could help me with this issue. I am trying to add page numbers to my excel spreadsheets but the numbers are increasing by 3 for a reason I do not know. For example the page numbering is 1, 4, 7, 10 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4. I did not start the document so I don't know what the author might have set but how can I fix this?

Assuming that you are using &[Page] for the page numbering, if you upload a copy of the workbook someone may be able to determine why the page numbers are incrementing by 3
