#FIELD Error

Copper Contributor

Currently making a dividend spreadsheet comprised with stocks and ETFs. Everything was going smoothly until I got a "#FIELD!" error under my Industry column for all my ETFs using the formula: =B6#.Industry. The Industries for the stocks were found and filled by excel but not the ETFs.

Hi @DeshiG,

Field error means that datatype doesn't exist in the records.

Thanks @Faraz Shaikh . I'm guessing that means there is no datatype for ETFs then at this time or I'd need to get the data some other way. Not having excel show what industry my ETFs fall under isn't a huge issue as everything else (prices, percentages etc) revolving around it works.
