What was the exact formula you used, and what did the cells referred to contain?

=DAYS(G6,G7) G6 and G7 contain dates

@KXSAM

Your original post suggested that you were using DATEDIF.

What are the dates in G6 and G7?

@Hans Vogelaar

3/23/24

2/26/24

I have swapped the dates, with no success.

Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?

main.xlsm

on onedrive.

Thanks! Select G6 and look at the formula bar. Or format G6 to display the four-digit year.

You'll see that the date in G6 is in 2124 instead of in 2024. Once you correct that, the DAYS formula should return a "normal" result.

And the formula in G9 should be =G7-G6.

Thanks a lot, simple mistake and gray hair
