Excel 365 Dynamic Array Formula

Copper Contributor

Hi there,

it appears there has been an update whereby if you entered a formula ie Vlookup in Cell C1 and press enter it populates the rest of the column. This normally happens for a table and I select convert to a range and I can select where I want the formula to be copied into. The column now has a thin blue border and when I filter data in the column and type in a phrase in the reduced selection the rest of the cells go blank and I can no longer use the column. What can I do? I want to be in control of a formula I entered and where I copy it to?

Thanks
