I am using Excel for Mac version 16

I have a macro enabled file on my computer (.xlsm)

This file updates every 15 minutes with data collected from the web

I want to view (not edit) the latest updated file on my phone

To share the file to my phone, via the cloud, it gets converted to an .xlsx file

Next time I want to share a fresh file the update fails presumably because the file I am uploading is .xlsm and the file that it is replacing is .xlsx

How can I overcome this incompatibility?

Perhaps your macro could create or update a separate .xlsx workbook with the data that you want to view, and save that in the cloud.
