We're having issues with users who have excel saved on network cifs shares and recently migrated to office 365. Is there any documentation about using shared workbooks instead of co-authoring when files are hosted on smb/cifs shares? I'm still looking but haven't found anything yet.

SolutionThat depends on what to understand under co-authoring. For server share nothing changes from former time, just simultaneous editing with all the same limitations. Co-authoring in terms of Office365 doesn't work here.
