changing the x-axis

Hi, 

I have made a graph but I need to be able to change the x-axis into years. I have tried doing it through the format plane but it does not work on my mac. I'll attach some photos.

(I used the January and year collums for the data)

@el1196 Difficult to explain, especially because you don't say much about how you constructed/formatted the chart. The attached file contains a small example that resembles your pictures and has the Year column set to populate the horizontal axis. Compare the settings I have used for 'Select data' and 'Format axis' to your own and see if you can fix your owns chart.
