Hello
I have created a set of drop-down lists - the data in the table is coloured (for certain subjects) but when I select from the list on my main sheet, the cell only contains the text: the colour formatting does not apply to the cell.
Please would you advise how I go about getting the colour of the cell to change when I select from the drop-down list?

If the source range is coloured through conditional formatting, you could apply the same rules to the cell(s) with the validation drop-down.
If the source range has been coloured manually, it would require VBA to colour the cell(s) with the drop-down.
