%3CLINGO-SUB%20id%3D%22lingo-sub-977353%22%20slang%3D%22en-US%22%3EComparative%20time%3C%2FLINGO-SUB%3E%3CLINGO-BODY%20id%3D%22lingo-body-977353%22%20slang%3D%22en-US%22%3E%3CP%3EAdmittedly%2C%20I%20am%20not%20a%20lab...%20I%20am%20someone%20using%20a%20PC%20for%20the%20usual%20daily%20grind.%26nbsp%3B%20And%2C%20true%2C%20I%20am%20very%20anxious%20to%20see%20the%20(new)%20Edge%20performance%26nbsp%3B%3CEM%3Eafter%26nbsp%3B%3C%2FEM%3Eit%20is%2C%20actually%2C%20part%20of%20the%20OS%20and%20has%2C%20actually%2C%20replaced%20current%20Edge%20there.%26nbsp%3B%20But%2C%20for%20the%20moment%2C%20going%20to%20a%20site%20via%20Edge%26nbsp%3B%20compared%20to%20Edge%20C...%20a%20page%20takes%20more%20time%20to%20fully%20load%20in%20Edge%20than%2C%20quick-like-a-bunny%2C%20Edge%20C.%26nbsp%3B%20I%20haven't%20timed%20it%20per%20se%2C%20but%2C%20no%20question%2C%20do%20wait%20longer%20than%2C%20w%2F%20Edge%20C%20which%2C%20loads%20them%20rapidly.%26nbsp%3B%20The%20difference%20is%20definitely%20enough%20to%20be%20easily%20noticeable.%3CBR%20%2F%3E%3CBR%20%2F%3EAnd%20having%20gone%20from%20the%20old%20IE%20to%20Edge%2C%20Edge%20has%20always%20seemed%20quite%20quick.%26nbsp%3B%20This%20Edge%20seems%20quicker%2C%20at%20least%2C%20the%20beta%20Channels%20seem%20so%2C%20right%20now.%3CBR%20%2F%3E%3CBR%20%2F%3ECheers%2C%3CBR%20%2F%3E%3CSTRONG%3E%3CEM%3EDrew%3C%2FEM%3E%3C%2FSTRONG%3E%3C%2FP%3E%3C%2FLINGO-BODY%3E%3CLINGO-SUB%20id%3D%22lingo-sub-977375%22%20slang%3D%22en-US%22%3ERe%3A%20Comparative%20time%3C%2FLINGO-SUB%3E%3CLINGO-BODY%20id%3D%22lingo-body-977375%22%20slang%3D%22en-US%22%3EYeah%20because%20it's%20using%20Chromium%20engine%20instead%3C%2FLINGO-BODY%3E

Admittedly, I am not a lab... I am someone using a PC for the usual daily grind.  And, true, I am very anxious to see the (new) Edge performance after it is, actually, part of the OS and has, actually, replaced current Edge there.  But, for the moment, going to a site via Edge  compared to Edge C... a page takes more time to fully load in Edge than, quick-like-a-bunny, Edge C.  I haven't timed it per se, but, no question, do wait longer than, w/ Edge C which, loads them rapidly.  The difference is definitely enough to be easily noticeable.

And having gone from the old IE to Edge, Edge has always seemed quite quick.  This Edge seems quicker, at least, the beta Channels seem so, right now.

Yeah because it's using Chromium engine instead
