Would love to see accessibility link to show how users' can access this content with out the usage of a mouse for disabled user's who rely on a keyboard only.

Provide keyboard accessibility solutions for access different portions of the new portal.

Hi all,

I wonder if you could let us know how accessibility is currently? We are about to undertake an accessibility audit to identify our shortfalls and as such would be great if you could share your current experience.

Good morning Allen let me take a look at the site again with all of my commercial screen reading tools for blind and low-vision technology and I will let you know this week.

if there's anything specific you would like me to take a look at it please let me know

Chris,

I think focusing on area's of content we provide and general site navigation would we helpful. There isnt much we can do about the accessibility of content provided by community members, beyond providing guidance.

Also if you would rather PM me your results then feel free to do so.

Good Morning Allen:

I will be auditing the sight for accessibility based on WCAG 2.0 AA Standards for Web Based Application.

Your dev team is going to need to become very familiar with the following standards.

http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/#contents

I will be looking at the portal for the low vision and blind user to access this app.  I will be creating a summary of the issues in Word where these issues are broken.  I will not document all repeated issues but the critical elements that are broken, if they are based on the standards above.

Thank you for your feedback. Our team are already undertaking some work to improve the accessibility of the site. Microsoft takes making our content accessible to all customers very seriously and so as a company we have been reviewing all our estates to try to understand where we fall short.

What I am asking of you though is if you wouldn't mind sharing if there are area's you are having issues with specifically. You can either post here or email using the email link on the homepage.

Thanks again
