Meeting ID and password for Webinar or TownHall
Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is possible to generate a Meeting ID and password for a Webinar or TownHall. The function room Audio/Visual requires a Meeting ID and password - not a generated link. Is there a setting i can change to allow this? Thank you!Solvedjanelle500Jul 15, 2024Copper Contributor1.3KViews0likes3CommentsUnable to set up Webinar invite from a Group Team calendar
Hi all, Hoping you can help. We have a Team site and calendar set up for our WIT (Women in Tech) in our organisation. We want to set up 3 webinars in July for people to register for but have noticed that the only option to set up a webinar has to come from the Calendar icon in Teams which automatically reverts to the personal calendar of the person sending the invite and not the WIT calendar as the sender. This would look odd when recieving the registration from a person and not WIT. It also would make editing the invite hard as even the co-organisers are limited as they are not the person sending the invite so making co-organizers ability void then. Anyone have a solution so the invite sender can be the WIT calendar. I know it can be done for Teams meetings, but we want to have it as a webinar though. Thanks in advance for any help you can give on this query.SolvedKiwirishJun 14, 2024Copper Contributor998Views0likes2CommentsTeams Webinar Can't edit internal presenter bio
Trying to set up a new webinar but I'm not able to edit the bio of an internal presenter. I'm organizer and presenter but I can't edit the bio because the save button is greyed out. I have already tried it with Teams for Windows, Teams for Mac and also in the browser. The same result everywhere, the button is greyed out. In contrast, I can edit and save the theming. Duplicating an older webinar (where the correct bio is already included) cannot be saved either. Error message "Something went wrong, and we need to try again." I think this is a "new" Teams related issue but I'm not sure. Any idea. ThomasSolvedThomas KrampeMay 16, 2024Brass Contributor1.5KViews2likes14CommentsTeams webinar-change sender email address

We have a team in our company that frequently runs webinars of 50-100 people. The 2 people who organize the webinars both have Teams Premium licenses. Attendees have regular licensing (E5). When creating the webinar they always choose the option to begin recording automatically. For the last several months at the end of these webinars the recording is saved - but to the OneDrive of one of the attendees. It is completely random; a different OneDrive every time, but never one of the organizers. It's not the first attendee to join, not the first person alphabetically or anything predictable like that. Additionally, the organizers do not have permission to view the recording so they have to work with the attendee to get the recording moved. I have already spent many hours on the phone with Microsoft and back and forth in tickets. But because we can't reproduce it on a call they say they can't help (it doesn't seem to happen when there are only a few people in a webinar). Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas for a policy I need to check?SolvedcprotheroDec 01, 2023Iron Contributor3.6KViews1like13CommentsHow can I install a co-organizer?

Hi, We are having problem with Teams live event because attendees are not counted during the live event. We've tried many times and it always shows zero (0) while there was about 30 attendees. I don't mean the report here, because the report shows the participants, but we can't see the number of participants in the producer view - always shows 0. Live event permissions we set as "public".SolvedKruszyaMar 27, 2023Copper Contributor4.4KViews0likes6CommentsHi, I need to change the organiser of a Teams webinar

How can you time stamp Teams meetings recordings? We use Teams for internal training sessions and then send out the recording to attendees. It would be nice to be able to time stamp/section key topics in training for ease of use.SolvedGabie_UKGMay 25, 2022Copper Contributor4.5KViews0likes1CommentMeeting and Webinar Setup- co-owner
I understand that co-host functionality is coming to Teams but I am looking for a temp workaround that might help us fully transition from Zoom.
