Meeting ID and password for Webinar or TownHall
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is possible to generate a Meeting ID and password for a Webinar or TownHall.
The function room Audio/Visual requires a Meeting ID and password - not a generated link.
Is there a setting i can change to allow this?

For Webinars, the meeting organizer will have a MeetingID and Passcode in their calendar for the session but there's not really a way to get it from the Webinar invites that go to attendees.
In some cases, as the organizer, I'll copy/paste the details into the webinar reminder emails if I know people are going to be joining in a room.
For Live Events, it doesn't surface any meeting ID/passcode for the organiser either.

I don’t think this neccesarily solved. The meeting ID and passcode generated by Town Hall only works if the specific account dialling it has been invited to the Town Hall itself, which is quite an annoying oversight
when organising large all company town halls, EA’s just book all sorts of rooms without inviting these rooms to the town hall themselves. So this being the case, the meeting ID and passcode won’t work, and when dialled and the room will be rejected
